I have been in the Sales Industry for my entire working career.  Sales have been good to - and for - me.

"Real Estate Sales have been Very Good".

To that end, I am blessed to be with the absolute BEST office in the Tehachapi area (Coldwell Banker BEST Realty). I have the best Broker imaginable, extremely supportive associates, contacts that keep me "in the know", and clients who genuinely respect and appreciate me.

I am convinced that I am doing exactly what God designed me to do. I love people. I love the sales process. I am committed to honesty and integrity. I don't know how to fail. I work hard. I truly care about helping folks take the next step on their personal journey.

I actively pursue excellence by honing my education. In early 2008 I completed the NAR e-Pro requirements and am now recognized as one of the area's few "designated" e-Pro Professionals. This designation speaks to my computer and internet skills as they relate to Marketing real estate in today's "connected" market sector. 

 
I completed my GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute) in late 2009.  This is an honor which only 4% of Realtors nationally ever secure.

 Additionally, I secured my SFR status (Short-Sale/Foreclosure Resource) in 2010.

My educational goals will continue throughout future years as I believe that contrary to popular opinion, "You really can teach old dogs new tricks!"

 

I am a dedicated "geek", and as such am committed to the purposeful use of technology to "win the Sales game". Additionally, I have had a 30 year love affair with photography which provides me an unusual advantage over most agents.

Quality people and communication skills are common denominators amongst all successful sales professionals. Truly: I have been blessed abundantly with both! I have a large network of "tight personal friends and professional associates" that has taken thirty years to develop. These "connections" have been crucial to my success. Truthfully, I'd rather make a friend than a dollar any day. I wholeheartedly believe that dollars can easily be replaced...

Relationships on the other hand, are "PRICELESS".

 

Speaking of "Priceless", I have been very happily married to my beautiful wife Shelley for almost twenty five years. Honestly, sometimes I wonder what keeps her going. Being married to a successful, hyper-busy, sales professional cannot be easy but Shell carries herself with such grace and style. Anybody that knows me knows that Shelley is the "Wind beneath my Wings". We pledged long ago to not only "commit" but to "uphold and inspire". Shelley has certainly done her part - and I love her for it.

We have two daughters: Karesa and Elizabeth. We also have two granddaughters: "Kiernan & Claire" (the prettiest ladies on the planet!).

Karesa is a busy executive w/Boeing in Washington, D.C. Elizabeth is married to a wonderful young man named Jerod.

I am proud to say that Jerod recently returned home from "patriotically" serving America's interests in Iraq.  Welcome home son: now, about those babies....

To say that I am proud is definitely an understatement. Both of our daughters (& Jerod) are succeeding in their chosen fields and I could not possibly be more pleased. I truly believe my commitment to my family is largely responsible for "why" my clients mean so much to me. Character and integrity really do count and to be invited into the lives of my clients means the world to me!


Although I am indeed challenged by a schedule that doesn't seem to have enough days or hours in it, I believe that to truly succeed, one must take "some" time for personal interests. My wife and I are actively engaged with our church (Country Oaks Baptist), several outreach ministries: ROCK (Romanian Outreach to Christ's Kids), the Walk to Emmaus (an inter-denominational outreach for sincere Believers who desire a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ), Crown Ministries (a biblical approach to personal and professional finances).


Beyond the factors listed above I credit my success to a sincere appreciation for and dedication to my Savior - Jesus Christ. I unashamedly admit that I am nothing more than a good hearted sinner. Left to my own means, I could have easily settled for a life of mediocrity. My standards changed forever when I admitted my shortcomings and accepted Christ into my heart and life as my most trusted of friends, my most insightful of counselors, my most uplifting of advocates.
